Beading Culturally & Recycled Crafts

Description:

Travel the globe through the art of beading! Students will discover different styles, materials, and techniques used in jewelry-making from cultures around the world. Each project will focus on a specific region, starting with a hands-on look at its unique traditions and tools. Along the way, students will also experiment with creating crafts from recycled materials and designing personalized pieces. This multi-grade class encourages teamwork through a buddy system, with older students guiding and collaborating with younger ones to create beautiful, one-of-a-kind works of art.
